Don’t Resist Your Weight!
When you resist your weight, you fight against it. Don’t fight it. Don’t resist it. Don’t diet. Fighting only strengthens it. What you resist only persists. If you struggle with your weight, it will only get worse. All struggles can be related to control – fighting against, resisting, going against, not accepting, rebelling, not going with the flow, and not flowing with change. When you fight against yourself and force yourself to diet and deny, restrict, and deprive yourself of the foods you love, want, and crave and push yourself to do exercise you hate, you rebel inside against your authoritative power and control. Resistance and rebellion doesn’t work nor do diets. When you let go of the need to control and follow the natural flow of life – you let go of all the stress, strain, and struggle that goes with it.
“You will never change your body if you are critical of it and find fault with it and in fact you will attract more weight to you.” Rhonda Byrne, The Secret
Accept Where You Are At!
Accept what is and where you are at right here right now with your weight. You are right where you need to be. You are exactly where you are supposed to be. It is perfect where you are at. Accept what is and accept where you are at now. Accept that you created it and it is serving you in some way.
Until you can learn to love and accept yourself for what you are this very moment, you will have difficulty becoming the person you want to be. If you want to change your body, you must begin with your mind first. The thoughts you put in your mind shape your body as it is.
The first step to naturally transforming your weight is to love, accept, and embrace yourself and your body just the way you are right now. Love it as it is right this moment totally, completely, and unconditionally.
Start at the Beginning
Most people, who are unhappy with their weight, try to start at the end by trying to change their physical bodies first to feel better about themselves. Unfortunately, diets don’t work because you starve yourself by restricting food, which slows down your metabolism to conserve energy, don’t deal with the issues behind the weight, the reasons you use food to numb your feelings (emotional eating) and cope with your problems, and change your negative thinking and limiting beliefs. Naturally transforming your weight and changing your "weighs" is quite easy. You just did it the wrong way before from the outside in.
To start at the beginning from the inside out, you need to be positive, accept where you are, be at peace with yourself, acknowledge that you created your weight for reasons in your best interest, and treat yourself with love, respect, and compassion.
Try a New Way
Most people are harsh on themselves, angry and frustrated with themselves, reject themselves, avoid enjoying themselves, and punish themselves for being overweight, which adds to even more weight. The more you beat yourself up, the more you reject yourself, the more angry and resentful you are, the more miserable and unhappy you are, the more you feel bad about yourself, the more insecure you feel, the more anxious and depressed you are, and the more you eat.
The old ways of starvation, deprivation, restriction, and controlling your body to diet and do exercise you hate and what you don’t want to do don’t work. Lasting change only takes place in a positive and supportive environment of love, acceptance, and freedom.
It is time to try a new way! It is time to eat what you want, enjoy, and love and move your body in ways that feel good to you. It is time to feel good inside, enjoy yourself, have fun, and spend time in what makes you feel happy and fulfilled. It is time to treat yourself, take time for yourself, pamper yourself, and take really good care of yourself. It is time to feel beautiful, love yourself, value yourself, and appreciate yourself exactly as you are.
