 Pain. We all know it. We all have it to some degree. Pain can be our friend, as in removing your hand from a hot stove to prevent injury, but often times it lives with us as an unwelcome guest. So too, to our pet friends. While most all older pets have chronic pain, most do not vocalize it. Instead we humans say, "ah, he's just getting old". "She can't jump up on the couch anymore". "He has trouble getting up" These are all signs of chronic pain. Today, many people are turning away from drugs - due to either side effects or the desire to return to more natural treatments - and more of those people are also searching for these type of therapies for their pets. Coming Together to Buy Wind Power Directly
 Here's a novel idea! Why not contract for wind-generated electricity directly with the supplier, rather than through your local energy utility? A group of Pennsylvania hospitals is doing just that and has united to purchase a third of their electricity in wind power at a locked-in price for the next 10 years. Estimated savings are $4.5 million--not bad for a bit of "out-of-the-box" thinking by hosptial administrators! Could other groups and organizations do the same thing and save millions?
