SOLAR HOT WATER SYSTEMS: THE “OTHER” KIND OF SOLAR
By Ross Goldstein When you mention the term “solar energy” to the average American, he thinks of solar electric, which is also known as PV, or photovoltaic solar panels, an expensive heating option at the present time. On the other hand, solar hot water heating systems are an ideal investment for use right now in the Mid-Atlantic region. Depending on how much space you have facing south, southeast, or southwest, you can use the energy of the sun to create warm water. With the price of oil, propane, electric, and natural gas increasing at a steady pace, combined with a lower cost of installation and the longevity of the collector panels, solar hot water provides one of the best rates of return of all the available renewable energy options, and systems can pay for themselves in only 2-5 years. <<Read More |

Review of "Matrix Energetics" Book by Richard Bartlett DC ND The subtitle here is "A Hands-on Guide to Subtle Energy and Radical Change" and it's pretty darn interesting stuff. I read this book based on the recommendation in the Foreward by Bill Tiller PhD, someone I've met personally and consider a real genius. Tiller is a highly respected scientist who has researched and validated the ability of consciousness and intention to change physical reality. That's really the foundational truth here and Bartlett has written a powerful personal accounting of how he discovered and developed his mind-bending energy technique. And now he wants to teach it all to you. <<Read More on the NLN Blog |

And it’s included in more products every day. We ran a recipe in our last Newsletter that used Xylitol as the healthy sweetener. You should know that Xylitol may be good for people, but it's highly toxic to dogs. A dog that ingests xylitol could show symptoms of liver failure within 30 minutes, including seizures, weakness, and collapse. With prompt medical attention, the animal's life can be saved. Still, if you use xylitol as a sugar substitute, buy xylitol-sweetened gum, candy, or mints, or use xylitol-based products (toothpaste, mouthwash) to help prevent cavities, take extra care to make sure these can’t be accessed by your dogs.
