We are very involved in the political and environmental movements around renewable energy development. Involvement with numerous environmental organizations in the region has helped Clean Currents be recognized with like-minded environmentally oriented individuals and elected officials. Clean Currents’ staff regularly testifies and helps draft language in the Maryland State House on renewable energy legislation on such topics as global warming, air pollution, wind and solar development. Additionally, they have been invited to the Maryland Governor’s Working Group on Renewable Energy. |
