We practice in a newly remodeled and expanded state of the art facility. We have been mercury -free totally for the last 12 years. Dr.Allison is an accredited member of the IAOMT, the worldwide organization of mercury-free dentists, holistic physicians,and concerned scientists and researchers.All of our efforts are directed to dental care for the family using the safest materials available.  Mercury-free dentistry for all ages-we have the expertise,the necessary equipment to remove mercury safely and to dispose of it in an environmentally safe way.We are serious about providing this service to the alternative healthcare group. Mercury is a dangerous neuro-toxin and an environmental timebomb. Mercury is the largest ingredient of "silver fillings"(50%or more) which most of us have had placed in our teeth. Mercury-silver amalgam fillings were developed in the 1840's, a time during the medical middle ages. No other area of medicine uses mercury except dentistry. Even though cosmetic dentistry is well accepted,70 million mercury fillings are placed in American's teeth each year. This is absurd. I swore an oath to do no harm to the people I serve when I graduated from dental school. Mercury is never used in my practice. Most dental professionals are not well versed on the subject ,although there are many good sources of pertinent research available. I would direct a search for information to the (IAOMT.org) as a start. Often times you are your own best health caretaker. Also, if you are in a holistically related field and would like to bring a study group to our office for a special session, call or email. The only way alternative caregivers can thrive is to keep up with what our patients are researching on there own and to provide them with a functional network of professionals who speak the same language.  The office is open Monday-Wed 8am-5pm Thurs 11am-7pm and Fri 8am-2pm. We have many people who travel from a distance to see us and we are more than willing to accomodate special scheduling requests during these times.  We accept cash, check, or credit card payment at the time of service. We also offer up to 18 months 0% payment plans through Capital One or Care Credit. We are insurance experts and can help you with your individual plan to get the best benefit. |
