Ayurvedic Yoga adapts your practice to your true nature (prakriti) as well as to any imbalances you may be experiencing whether they are physical, mental, or spiritual in nature.  Changes may also be made according to the seasons and how you are affected by seasonal energies, and dietary recommendations may be made to help you alleviate any problems occuring at any given time.  Visit my blog, The Well-Seasoned Woman at http://www.namastehon.wordpress.com for more information. Ashtanga Yoga follows a traditional series of postures as taught by Sri Pattabhi Jois of Mysore India, and is also adapted to each individual according to ability and current condition.  It is meant to be practiced daily (with one day of rest) for maximum benefit and need not be vigorous to be effective.  Evening classes for beginners to more experienced yogis are held at our new studio, Angles Yoga, at 40 Bloomsbury Avenue in Catonsville MD  21228 with more planned as we grow!

Private sessions in Yoga and/or Ayurvedic Natural Healing Lifestyle are offered for those who need more than general recommendations.  We can assess your state of physical imbalance and make specific suggestions for getting the most out of your Yoga practice, help you recover from injuries, reduce aches and pains from your job, and more!  Plus, we can take a look at your diet and lifestyle, finetuning according to your underlying nature (prakriti) and imbalances (vikruti) to help you avoid future illnesses, boost your energy, and more!  Discount for booking multiple sessions (weekly or monthly).

We can also ecommend Ayurvedic body oils, cooking herbs and spices, and supplements as needed.  Products from Banyan Botanicals and Young Living.

We can also teach transformational workshops and master classes for experienced and novice Yoga practitioners in traditional and modified Ashtanga Yoga, Ayurvedic Vinyasa Yoga, and Chinese Shamanic Qigong.

  • Monday 6 - 7:30 pm Ayurvedic Vinyasa Yoga (moderate)
  • Tuesday 6 - 7 pm  Intro to Yoga (beginners, gentle)
  • Tuesday 7:15 - 8:45 pm Ayurvedic Power Yoga (vigorous)
  • Wednesday 5 - 6 pm  traditional Ashtanga (1/2 Primary Series - modifications taught as needed)
  • Thursday 6 - 7 pm Six Pack Yoga (abs and core focus - all levels)
  • Thursday 7:15 - 8:15 pm  Marma Yoga (all levels - reduce energy restrictions, build your deeper energies)
  • 3rd Friday of the month 6 - 8 pm:  The Well-Seasoned Life: Ayurvedic Natural Lifestyle Workshops ($20 each)
Bloomsbury Recreation Center (Catonsville) University of Maryland Baltimore County (for credit):
  • Monday 9:45 - 11:15 am ($10 drop in)
UMBC PE credit courses in Ashtanga Yoga:
  • Winter Session (January)
  • Summer Session (June/July)



classes at Angles Yoga are $12/class x number of classes/session if signing up for one class/week.
sign up for a second class/week and pay only $10/class x number of classes/session!
or drop in for $15 (if registered for at least 1 class/week, drop in for $13/class)

you can make up any classes missed during the session by attending another class during that session.
payment is by cash or check made out to "Angles";  payment must be made before attending class.
