    Introduction
Baltimore Biomass is a Buyers cooperative that makes local, sustainably grown bio-mass available to its members for use as heating fuel. Baltimore Biomass currently offers its members #2 shelled corn for use in corn-burning and multi-fuel stoves. Our corn is contractually grown by Maryland farmers, using sustainable farming practices, and then transported directly to our centrally located facility at 2800 Sisson Street in mid-town Baltimore City. Our current members save between 30% and 50% on their winter heating bills compared to what might be considered traditional heating methods. Best of all are biomass is net carbon neutral, meaning that it only produces as much carbon dioxide when it burns as the plant takes in when it grows. For more information visit or web site at www.baltimorebiomass.com. Baltimore Biomass is a project of Sustainable Urban Infrastructures, Inc. a Maryland registered non-profit.
