    Area's of Speciality
Baltimore Green Works offers the public opportunity to be informed about environmental issues and best sustainable practices by connecting community members with the resources available in and around Baltimore as well as local and nationally known speakers and educators.  In providing this information, BGW puts a lot of effort into connecting the various topics (green  building, transportation, climate change, conservation, etc...) in an effort to show the holistic picture.
    Products/Services Offered
Baltimore's Green Resource Guide, a web based resource guide that connects community members with local businesses who offer sustainable products and services (free for participants and users.)

Baltimore's Green Community Calendar, a web based calendar set up to capture local, environmentally focused events.
    Classes/Programs
Baltimore Green Week, BGW hosts this week-long series of events where organizations, businesses, neighborhood groups, schools and government agencies come together to talk about what is happening on a local level to make Baltimore the most sustainable city! EcoFest kicks off the week with over 100 vendors and exhibitors along with hands-on workshops and activities for the whole family in Druid Hill Park. Try your hand at yoga, bike riding, bee keeping or just swing by for a delicious Chipotle taco or Propa Falafel pita. If you can't make it on Saturday, check the schedule online to participate in any one of the free and low lost lectures and workshops happening throughout the week. For more information, go to http://www.baltimoregreenworks.com/events

Sustainable Speaker Series, 3-4 times a year BGW invites nationally known leaders to discuss current issues and successes happening on the planet while making local connections back to our city, state and region.  We have had the great pleasure in hosting Michael Pollan, Will Allen, Novella Carpenter, Paul Greenberg, Chuck Fox and former Senator, Gerald Winegrad to the stage.  We look forward to making sure that Maryland is a continued participant in the overall discussion and to working with so many great leaders in the industry.

    Who We Serve
We serve all communities in and around Baltimore City. Our goals are to increase environmental awareness, promote sustainable living and connect community members with the information they need to make informed decisions each day.
    Support Our Work
Your sponsorship is what keeps Baltimore Green Works viable.  Started by regional volunteers, it remains a volunteer-driven organization. Its purpose is to increase awareness about how local residents can make the Baltimore region cleaner and environmentally safer for all who live and work here.

EcoBall, BGW's annual fundraising event happens each year on the Friday closest to the first day of spring.  Join us for a night of live music, fabulous food and fun eco-inspired outfits!  Each year, we partner with local farmers and producers to challenge student teams from the Baltimore International College of Culinary Arts to a "Top Chef" style competition.  In addition to a panel of local celebrity judges, the audience gets to choose some of the top winners.  Gratis food, beer and wine are provided.  For more information and to purchase tickets, go to http://baltimoregreenworks.com/ecoball

Winter Green Annual Meeting and Happy Hour, Sick of the end of year boardroom Powerpoint?  Interested in making new and important connections for the coming year?  Join BGW in celebrating our year at the Red Maple Restaurant and Lounge where a percentage of all food and beverage sales for the evening go to supporting the organizations programming.  This is the place where "greenies" can take a moment to debrief and plan before they take to the dance floor!
