Dr. Goldwasser received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in 1981. He received his B.S. in Biology and Psychology from American University in 1977. 

Dr. Goldwasser was the first recipient of the Frank Roberts Memorial Award for distinguished service to the chiropractic profession by the Maryland Chiropractic Association. Safety Award from the Maryland Cup Corporation for Industrial Safety.

Dr. Goldwasser received his Spinal Rehabilitation Certification from Los Angeles Chiropractic College 1995.
