My Dad instilled love for the Earth in my sister and I from the start. We were raised to be respectful of everything around us.  Littering was not allowed.  His one saysing that stays with me even today:  "If it didn't grow there, don't leave it there."

My roots go back to the environmental movement of the 70's. In the 80's, a friend in upstate New York, Christine Shahin, whose lifestyle and philosphy served as impetus for my awareness, further cemented my involvement in environmental concerns.   Living in the Adirondack Park daily surrounded me with reminders of the Earth's beauty and my responsibility to protect it.

I choose to live consciously and believe that this Earth is everyone's responsibility - not just that of the 'crazy environmentalists', the other guy or everyone else but you! In all our choices - every day - the balance of the Earth's health rests with everyone.

Enviro Life Source is a member of the Green Products Alliance.  greenproductsalliance.com I have practiced organic principles for almost 40 years.  I always felt uneasy about using chemicals and started doing my own research.  Through my involvement with the local food industry, (VICFA - Virginia Independant Consumers & Farmers Association www.vicfa.org  ) and promotion of local farmers and the benefits of eating local - I became aware of  what's really in our food.   I started doing a lot of research and reading into the food industry.  As a result I have drastically changed my diet because - as I am fond of saying:  "I know too much!" Now an advocate of eating naturally, I do what I can to teach people to be more attentive to what they eat.  It comes full circle back to Enviro Life Source, which is all about organic and pesticide-free living. I also worked at Lowe's in the garden center for 5 years and learned a lot about gardening, but was also more conscious of the addiction to chemicals & pesticides of the American public.  This horrified me because people really had NO IDEA of their impact.
