 Assisting anmals and their caretakers in providing alternatives to traditional methods of healing.  I have always had a great love and admiration for all animals. I believe the animals that choose to be with us on our journey through life can often times bring great comfort, joy and enlightenment when we connect with them on both the physical and spiritual level. It is through this connection we can become closer to the true spirit and oneness of life. In 2002 a little dog named Alley Ann came into my life and she literally changed my life forever. Alley had many medical issues and for the next year and a half I spent caretaking this loving spiritual being. It was through Alley Ann’s life and ultimate passing that the heart connection between the two of us strengthened and I realized that I need to get back on my path with helping animals. I began interspecies studies with animal communicator Dawn Hayman of Spring Farm Cares, became certified in canine massage through Equissage, became certified in Healing Touch for Animals and also began studies of the Metaphysical side of life. It is through this process that Spirit Paws was created. I am here to help animals using alternative modalities to help them heal.  My speciality is Animal Communication. I am here to assist you in creating a healthy and deep spiritual bond between you and your animal companion through communication. I like to deal with both the physical and spiritual side of all animal beings when doing my work. As with us humans we can not just treat the physical side of life as we are so much more than our bodies. The animals in our lives are indeed precious members of the family and it is important that we honor and do the same for them. We are all part of the great oneness of the universe. Our animal companions can lift our spirits from some of the deepest downs and remind us of what really matters, unconditional love. They are the true teachers of unconditional love and other values of the heart and spirit. Whether it is animal communication or energy work when working with an animal, we must always honor and respect its spirit, and always remember that it is the animal’s soul that has the ultimate choice in making any shifts that are to be made. I am grateful to be able to assist you and your animal companion in your quest for good health for your animal and a deeper understanding between our two worlds. I assist all animals, dogs, cats, horses, iguanas, fish, goats, donkeys, etc. As they all have a voice and thoughts that they communicate to us each and every day. I have assisted in helping with the rehabilitation of puppymill dogs, traumatized animals and a host of behavior issues. I offer the following services: Animal Communication, Animal Grief Counseling, Healing Touch for Animals, Healthy Pet Consults, Euthanasia Counseling, Working with Your Animal Totem, Birthday Parties, Group Animal Communication Sessions, Spiritual Counseling (for people), Kundalini Reiki (for people). I have also created two guided meditation CD's that you and your animal companion can travel together in the realms of meditation. These journeys can be with a current animal companion or one who has transitioned. These are wonderful CD's to help create a deeper bond between you and your animal companion.  I am an Animal Communicator who studied under Dawn Hayman of Spring Farm CARES. I am also a Certified Healing Touch for Animals Practioner, Certified Canine Massage Therapist, Kundalini Reiki Master and Animal Medical Intuitive. I am a Metaphysical teacher and certified in several other healing modalities.  Various animal and people related workshops are offered throughout the year. These workshop mainly focus on the spiritual side of animals and their people.  Times and schedule are flexiable. Generally there are no scheduled appointments after 7 pm in the evening. The best way to schedule an appointment is to email me at sherry@spiritpaws.com.  Any travel over one hour or 50 miles from the Elkridge area a milage charge will be added to the service provided.
